Children story analysis

The Brave Monkey Pirate

This childrens story’s conflict is that this little monkey is scared to get a needle so his dad sends him on this big adventure to get a rock to squeeze while he gets his needle. I believe this story is probably liked by children because they can relate to it as most young lads are scared to get a needle. The art is quite kid friendly and the characterization of the little monkey is pretty good as he learns how to face his fears.

Invisible Alligators

This childrens story’s conflict is that this one little monkey keeps finding all her stuff messed up. Her favorite toy castle gets broken and her llamas are let loose by invisible alligators who are actually doing these things to teach people valuable lessons. I think parents probably like to read this book to their kids because it teaches them that when their parents make them do things it is just teaching them life lessons.

Wolstencroft The Bear

This story isn’t too similar to the other stories as it isn’t really teaching a lesson. This story is just about a bear that doesn’t like his name because he thinks no one will buy him because of his name. In the end he is bought by a young lad with the exact same name which in my opinion is quite improbable.
