today we learned a few different techniques for taking pictures like the rule of thirds, filling the frame, the importance of the point of view and leveling your pictures. the rule of thirds is a basic technique that just about everyone uses whether they're a photographer or director everyone uses it. another reason people use it is because it makes the photo more interesting and adds contrast. one of the other techniques is filling the frames, it is a simple technique that makes the photos more interesting and allows you to really capture details. another technique is framing which is surrounding your subject with something like a frame. small changes in perspective can really make your picture POP. another tip was to always keep your photo level, dont tilt the camera or anything.
